Noctua's NT-H2 is a professional TIM solution for enthusiasts who do not want to give up outstanding performance or maximum ease of use. A hybrid configuration of different micro-particles enables minimal thermal resistance, easy handling and excellent long-term stability.
Compared to its predecessor, the mixture of metal-oxide microparticles was further improved. As a result, overall a lower thermal resistance and a lower layer thickness was achieved in the contact pressure. Especially with CPUs with high TDP a much higher performance has been achieved.
Like its predecessor, the NT-H2Thermal compound has been specially optimized for use in the PC sector and, thanks to its excellent wetting and distribution properties, provides excellent results.
The paste spreads excellently under pressure and therefore does not have to be spread on the heatspreader. This not only reduces the consumption of paste, but also the installation effort: Drop one drop of NT-H2 into the middle of the CPU, install the cooler - that's it! It quickly reaches its full capacity and does not require a longer burn-in time.
Of course, neither solvents nor other low boiling point substances are included, and the thermal grease has excellent long term stability. Thanks to its excellent curing, bleeding, dry-out and thermal cycling characteristics, the Noctua NT-H2 can be used for many years without problems.
Furthermore, it has an extremely low dielectric constant, as well as a high dielectric strength. Thus, in the application in the PC area, even with direct contact with tracks or components no risk of short circuit.
The NT-H2 is suitable for use with copper and aluminum coolers and is fully compatible with all common materials in the PC area.
