The NZXT H210 is the successor of the H200. Like its predecessors, the Mini-Tower offers a proven, no-frills design. The mounting mechanism of the tempered glass side panel has been optimized and now requires only one screw at the rear of the case. This gives a cleaner look and the glass is less under tension.
NZXT once again relies on a proven design with smooth outer surfaces and a minimalist aesthetic for the H210. Changes in appearance are primarily of a practical nature: the tempered glass side panel of the predecessor was attached to the chassis with four thumbscrews. On the NZXT H210, on the other hand, the side surface is completely flat. A single thumbscrew on the back of the case ensures a secure grip and easier access to the inside of the computer.
If you rely on traditional air cooling, the NZXT H210 offers a lot despite its compact dimensions: At the front there is room for two 140 or 120 fans and in the roof as well as in the back wall there is room for one 120 mm fan respectively. For processor coolers, a maximum height of 165 millimeters is provided. NZXT equips the Mini Tower from the factory with in-house fans from the Aer series: A black 120 mm model is pre-installed in the cover and on the back. The fans ensure adequate aiflow. Removable dust filters are mounted on the front and under the power supply unit.
The installation of a custom water cooling system was also taken into account: In front the user can install a 240 radiator. In addition, a 120 radiator can be installed on the rear wall. In the front 85 millimetres of space is present and 42 millimetres in the rear wall. On the cable cover between motherboard and the front of the case, a reservoir and pump with up to 150 mm total height can be installed.
The interior of the NZXT H210 is limited, but well structured. Only Mini-ITX format motherboards can be used. Two slots are available for expansion cards. Graphics cards may be up to 325 millimeters in length.
Like its predecessors, the NZXT H210 has no external drive bays. Internally, however, quite a large number of storage can be installed: Under the power supply cover a 3.5" hard disk can be installed in the bottom of the case. The holes are also suitable for a 2.5-inch drive.
Behind the motherboard tray lies sufficient space for two 2.5-inch drives mounted vertically and another 2.5-inch drive on the side of the motherboard tray. This makes it possible to mount up to four 2.5-inch drives or three 2.5-inch SSDs as well as a 3.5-inch drive. Behind the motherboard tray there are dedicated rails for cable routing. There is about 16.3 millimeters of space available to enable cables to be cleverly concealed in the back.
