The NEWlink USB3.0 4 Port Hub is supplied with a 12v 2a external power supply and is ideal for adding additional USB3.0 ports to your desktop or laptop. It supports a data rate of up to 5Gbps as well as a quick charge port allowing you to rapidly charge devices that support quick charging. The quick charge port is dedicated to charging only, this port cannot be used for data transfer.
While this is a powered USB hub, it will work without a power supply at a reduced rate and the quick charge port won't work.
