The 450CPU includes two integrated 16mm fittings and is compatible with both hardline and soft tubing. Manufactured using premium materials, including 100% pure copper, aluminium alloy, and cast acrylic, a Phanteks Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU is both highly effective and stylish. The copper contact plate boasts a phenomenal surface area using 0.15mm micro fins, perfect for dissipating your CPU’s waste heat. What’s more, the Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU is compatible with a wide range of processors, thanks to its support for modern AMD Intel LGA sockets.
The Phanteks Glacier EZ-Fit system takes all the guess work out of designing and installing a custom cooling loop in your PC. The Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU block features two pre-installed 16mm fittings, making installation easier than it would be with a traditional CPU block. With an EZ-Fit 450CPU block, there are plenty of options for what type of tubing to use. The pre-installed fittings are compatible with a wide range of 16mm tubing, including PMMA, PETG, acrylic, and PVC.
In addition to this, the Phanteks Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU block boasts excellent compatibility with a wide range of CPUs. In fact, the block includes several brackets that facilitate use with both AMD and Intel sockets, including AM4, AM5, LGA 1700, and LGA 1851. These are manufactured from solid metal and utilise a spring mechanism to apply balanced pressure across the CPU for optimum heat transfer.
Furthermore, any heat produced by your CPU will be quickly dissipated. The 100% copper contact plate has a large surface area for maximising heat transfer between the plate and coolant. To do this, the contact plate features multiple 0.15mm micro fins, which both increase surface area of the plate and allow coolant to easily flow through the block with minimal resistance.
The Phanteks Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU block features gorgeous aesthetics. The block’s body is manufactured from a semi-transparent POM plastic, allowing you to observe the flow of coolant. It also acts as a diffuser for the ten vibrant DRGB LEDs laid out in two strips within.
To further enhance the Glacier EZ-Fit 450CPU block’s appearance, Phanteks has added an aluminium face plate to the bottom half. This plate can come in either a black or white finish. What’s more, the fittings are colour-matched to this face plate; the black model includes black fittings, while the white version boasts two chrome fittings.
