The Tinted Tempered Glass and Lighting of the Zofos Evo Window
Raijintek pulled out all the stops when creating the
Full-Tower Zofos Evo Window. This is not only obvious from the way in which the designers focused on creating an exceptionally spacious interior, but also the elegant crafting of the exterior. The angular plastic front panel with its brushed aluminium look makes a striking first impression especially in conjunction with the glowing
RGB-LED strips. Thanks to its magnetic brackets, the front is also easy to remove. Behind this lies a honeycomb-style mesh as well as a dust filter as well as
the 5.25" bays for optical drives or controllers.
Perhaps the centrepiece of this case is the tinted tempered glass side panel which allows your hardware to be shown off looking its very best. The top of the case comes with a honeycomb mesh grid that helps to optimise airflow within the case. Speaking of airflow, a total of up to
seven fans can be added. A 120 mm RGB fan has already been installed by Raijintek in the back of the case, although this can be swapped out for a 140 mm if you prefer. The RGB lighting and the LED strips can be connected to
an RGB controller inside the case, which itself offers
eight ports. This in turn is either connected to the motherboard and controlled by software or via the
included remote control.
The Zofos Evo Silent: Masses of Space for Water Cooling and Fans
Behind the front, users can installed up to three 120 mm or 140 mm fans. Optionally, a radiator up to
420 mm in size can be installed, which combined with the fan can be up to 85 mm deep. The cages are attached with knurled screws and can be easily removed if necessary to make room for
graphics card up to 47 cm long, otherwise it is limited to 34 cm. The drives can also be installed
without tools. The top of the case offers space for two 140 mm- or three 120 mm fans or even a radiator up to 360 mm in size. An installation bracket is also included with the
Zofos Evo Window. An additional 360 mm radiator with a depth of 85 mm can be placed vertically at the front of the right Panel. There is also a mesh grid. However the radiator installed there may obstruct radiators or fans located on the top or front. CPU coolers used in the
Zofos Evo Silent can be up to 190 mm high.
The power supply shroud also has magnetic brackets. Behind this shroud is the
ATX- or EPS power supply that can be up to 350 mm long, if you forfeit a drive cage. Because there are two further drive cages,
the total possible number of 3.5" drives increases to a total of ten. They can all be replaced by 2.5" drives. Three additional 2.5" drives can be mounted on the back of the motherboard tray, but in this version of the case one space is occupied by the RGB controller. In total, the
Zofos Evo Silent can hold up to
13 SSD drives.
Special Features: Vertical Graphics Card and USB Type-C Connector
In addition to ten horizontal slots, the back of the case allows users the option of installing
the graphics card vertically. To do this, you will require an optional riser cable that does not come included with the case. Dust filters are available for the cover, the front and under the power supply unit. Given that the case is so well-equipped on the whole, Raijintek would be remiss to leave the I/O panel untouched. As it happens, the case comes with a modern
USB 3.1 Type-C which allows devices' to be connected in either orientation! Two further traditional USB 3.0 connectors as well as the usual jacks for Audio In/Out are included. Naturally the
Zofos Evo Window provides plenty of space for perfect cable management. One final small but highly convenient feature is also included by Raijintek:
The rear I/O panel of the motherboard installed in the case is illuminated by the case's LEDs, perfect for when you have to venture under your desk to make adjustments and need a little extra light.Technical Details:- Dimensions: 224 x 617 x 598 mm (W x H x D)
