The Mugen 6 presents a redesigned heatsink that features an increased fin count by 45%. Despite these changes, it maintains a low height of just 154 mm. This arrangement with higher fin density results in improved heat dissipation.
Asymmetrical design for increased compatibility
The asymmetrical design of the heatsink ensures high compatibility with most cases and motherboards. It allows full access to the front RAM slots and moves the cooling block slightly away from the graphics card.
Improved heat transfer through optimized soldering process
An optimized soldering process guarantees increased heat transfer between the six high-quality, nickel-plated copper heat pipes and the contact plate of the heat sink.
Scythe Wonder Tornado 120mm fan
The Mugen 6 comes with a Scythe Wonder Tornado 120mm fan. This fan features a 9-blade vortex design and the reliable Sealed Precision Fluid Dynamic Bearing. The newly adjusted size ratio of the hub to the fan blades ensures excellent smoothness, even at a maximum speed of 2000 rpm.
Low noise and vibration performance
Rubberized pads over the fan mounting holes have a decoupling effect and prevent the transmission of noise and vibrations. This results in a reliable fan that provides powerful airflow while remaining remarkably quiet.
Easy installation and maximum compatibility
The easy-to-install HPMS V mounting system provides optimal contact pressure and compatibility with the latest CPU sockets, including Intel's LGA 1700 and AMD's AM5.
Safe installation thanks to the pre-assembled mounting bar
A pre-assembled mounting bar with spring-loaded screws ensures even pressure distribution during installation. The backplate is securely attached to the motherboard using rubberized spacers, which makes the entire process much easier.
