Housed inside the stylish Kolink Inspire K6, the Refract Crimson is a fully equipped gaming PC designed for entry-level and casual gaming. Just like all the pre-built computers in the Refract Gaming range, the Crimson has been curated by our team of experts at Overclockers UK. Each component has been cherry-picked and hand-installed to create a gaming PC perfect for games such as Fortnite, League of Legends, and Valorant.
The Refract Crimson utilises an AMD A620M mATX Motherboard, armed with DDR5 and an AMD AM5 socket. This ensures it works beautifully with the selected 32GB DDR5 RAM kit and AMD Ryzen 7 8700G APU. In contrast to traditional CPUs, the AMD APU utilises integrated graphics, negating the need for a dedicated graphics card. In addition to this, the Refract Crimson has both a solid state and a hard drive, maximising capacity and speed.
To show you how the Refract Crimson is suited for gaming, our experts have tested a number of popular games on this system. They have benchmarked a variety of titles, showcasing the frames per second at 1080p high settings. Frames per second means the frequency of images captured or displayed consecutively. The higher the FPS rate, the smoother your image will be. 1080p and 1440p are both high-definition resolutions and refer to the number of pixels displayed vertically down the screen. The higher the number, the more pixels there are to create a crisper image.
In terms of gaming on the Refract Crimson, this PC is suited for popular games like Valorant, League of Legends, and Fortnite. Valorant is both first-person shooter game, where having a high frame per second rate will improve your aim. Valorant can achieve 330FPS+ at 1080p. League of Legends and Fortnite are multiplayer online battle arenas (MOBA), where having a high frame rate will make your gaming feel more responsive as well as smoother. Enjoy League of Legends with 295FPS+ at 1080p and Fortnite with 270FPS+ at 1080p.

PC was super easy to setup and install and performed just as good if not better than the advertised benchmarks (could get >200 fps for LoL). Also if you are a dummy like me you might not realise that the Windows product key sticker was placed on the back of the PC all along. I've had it for just over a month and its been performing perfectly so far, no complaints at all.
