Does exactly as you would expect when plugged into a true PWM fan header. The fans will spin at max RPM if the motherboard header is voltage controlled so it's best to double check your manual as not all 4-pin headers are PWM.I purchased this for use with LED PWM fans and the LEDs are powered fully even when the fans are at low RPM.
