Simple, Cheap, Did the job

Great idea, but I simply wasn't able to get my motherboard to control the fan speeds so they all ran at 100%. I'm using Akasa Apache PWM fans too. Maybe I just got a dodgy cable through, or doesn't work with my ASUS motherboard, or doesn't like the fans. Anybody's guess! This cable was cheap enough to give it go, so leaving this review as fair warning just in case. Live and learn, I've gone and bought a proper fan controller instead.
I have 13 case fans so controlling them all is a pain. This simple cable set allows me to control my 4 rad fans and additional fan from the CPU fan header. Keeps temps far better controlled than the built in Corsair H100 controller. Cheap and very effective solution.
