What a great little cpu. Bought this as a replacement to my 3600X and what a difference. Highly recommend!
Upgraded from ivybridge 3770 (non "K" edition) in Feb 2022 to this. The CPU is good, but does not provide the massive step up in performance you would expect from other reviews. Graphics is a 1070. If you have an older CPU, but it still does "ok". I'd recommend holding on to your money and upgrading only if you have to (current Windows 11 compliance, application productivity) or go to a 5700/5800X or non-X. Its not worth paying for this chip unless you are dependant on your hardware for income (which I was as I WFH). If you do get this chip, get a good 550 chipset motherboard with gen4 nvme. Am4 wont last forever, but it won't go in the next year, so its future proofed for a couple more zen gens.
For me this is a great upgrade from a system I built 13 years ago (Intel i5 750) and I'm able to play games, edit video's and photo's without any stress and much reduced waiting times on rendering. At it's current price (£209.99) it's the best bang for bucks out there.
