Finance available from Great board
by ChrisMade the switch to AMD as my 8700k has recently started to hold me back, haven't used AMD stuff for quite some years but was pleasantly surprised, booted up immediately into Windows 10 first time, installed all the drivers and utilities automatically, flashed the BIOS straight away no issues at all, probably the first time a new system has booted straight away without at least saying no cpu cooler detected haha. Appears they have stopped putting the silly paper sticker over the memory slots, ram is running 6000mhz perfectly fine, LAN speeds did seem slow at first but a few days later and i'm testing at 1gbps again. Asrock software might not be the prettiest but it sure works better than another brand beginning with A, BIOS is fairly simple and does not like a 3440x1440p monitor but works fine. 7900x3d running fine idling at around 49 with a h150i and maxing at about 70 in games. Would have been nice to have some RGB over the IO but not a lot of boards seem to at the minute. Nice looking board though despite the USB headers for the front panel being vertical not horizontal facing which does not look as good, ordered some carbon sleeving to tidy them up. GPU only covers 1 m.2 slot, but the other 3 are still accessible without removing the gpu, even with a 7900xtx red devil installed. Would recommend the board, looks great, works well, hassle free setup, overclocking well. Couldn't recommend it enough.
