Disappointed
by TonyHWhen I bought this mainboard I checked the memory QVL beforehand and ordered the fastest matched pair that I could afford but it will not run the memory at it's highest, advertised speed without error. I contacted Asrock support and did everything that they asked, including trying a different CPU and a different pair of memory sticks but we got nowhere other than to prove (to my mind at least) that it is a problem with the board or the QVL. They pushed the ticket up to their technical department and that is the last that I have heard of it. The other aspects of the board work correctly and the memory does still work, albeit at a slower speed. Unfortunately, I gave away my old PC and cannot afford to take the time offline to go through the RMA process so I'm going to have to put up with it. Last time I buy Asrock.
