To deliver the best experience possible, every layer of the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme Keyboard has been constructed from carefully selected premium materials. The carbon fibre positioning plate provides metal-like rigidity and a crisp typing sensation, whilst minimising vibrations and absorbing shocks. To heighten this, there is triple-layer dampening, using a Poron dampening foam, Poron switch pad, and a silicone pad. As a result, vibrations are reduced further and you can enjoy less switch pinging on every keystroke.
All of this is housed in an aluminium alloy chassis, with a distinctive bladed pattern and an attention to detail that shows commitment to aesthetics. The aluminium used on the bottom bezel’s bottom half has been through twelve manufacturing processes to refine its appearance and structure. This includes sandblasting, anodising, CNC machining, and much more.
Finally, the gasket mount is adjustable via a quick flip paddle to enable different typing feels. By toggling this switch, you can alternate between Hard or Soft mode. Hard typing makes every keystroke feel firmer with a quick rebound that is excellent for gaming. Soft provides a more flexible keystroke that stays comfortable during extended typing sessions.
The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme is a 75% keyboard, omitting the numpad to save on space. Thanks to macro support, these keys can be programmed with new functionality to suit your workflows and gaming. Arranged in a UK ISO layout, the keycaps are manufactured from PBT, a hard-wearing plastic, using the double shot moulding method. As a result, these keys are incredibly durable and won’t shine with use.
Beneath the keycaps are ROG NX Snow switches. These are linear switches with a short 1.8mm actuation point. It only takes 40gf force to activate these switches, and up to 53gf to bottom out. They are fantastic for rapid keystrokes and provide satisfying “thocky” acoustics. What’s more, the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme has hot-swapping technology, enabling you to replace the switches as you please – all without needing to solder!

What’s more, this gaming keyboard can be paired with the ROG Omni Receiver. This device allows a compatible mouse and compatible keyboard to connect to just the one receiver, all without compromising performance.

Adding a modern touch, the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme Keyboard features a 1.47” full colour OLED touchscreen. This can be used to display a wide range of information, including keyboard status, system monitoring, and custom animations. There is even the option to display how many keystrokes per second you are typing at! What’s more, using the side button, you can toggle through functions and settings to make on-the-fly adjustments with the three-way knob.
This touchscreen can be configured in ASUS Armoury Crate, setting the animations or display information. This comprehensive software can also be used for configuring the RGB lighting and memory profiles. The ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme has on-board memory for one default and up to five custom profiles, allowing you to fine tune this keyboard to a variety of needs.
On top of all this, the ASUS ROG Azoth Extreme Gaming Keyboard has ergonomic features to keep you comfortable as you type and game. This includes a silicone wrist rest, design to retain its firm support over time. What’s more, there are two pairs of magnetic feet so you can easily adjust the keyboard’s angle to best suit your needs.
I know the cost is unbelievable. However, you get a solid keyboard with exclusive typing experience. Really happy with the purchase and I totally recommend for anyone looking for a high end keyboard.
