Ok so I am someone who spends over 12 hours a day at my desk. Working, Gaming, Lounging etc. Probably too much screen time, but because of my unhealthy routine I NEEDED to find a better Chair. I had owned a couple of the "Racing Style" chairs, even a SecretLab, yeah why people buy those things is beyond me, so I had my eyes on this Asus for a while and kept debating buying one and I should have done it sooner.
When I am working I get so much support from the comfortable seat base, the all so adjustable and supportive lumbar support, and the ability to lock myself in place to sit upright, this thing is designed for anyone who needs to sit for long hours and days at their desk.
When I wanna kick back and chill watch some Youtube and Netflix, when you recline the chair opens up your body, ok so the headrest isnt the best compared to some chairs, but after some tweaking you can find that sweet spot and get nice and comfy, heck I have even taken some naps in this chair on my lunch breaks.
Then when the day is done, you wanna game, the Arm Rests are so adjustable compared to any chair ive seen, whatever game you are playing, you can move these arm rests into the most aggressive or relaxed playstyle that you want. AND the biggest perk which you cannot do in 99% of Mesh chairs, is I can leg tuck on this (Where I have a habit of tucking 1 leg under the other. The chair has so much room I can still do this incredibly had habit hehe.
Ok so its on the higher price side compared to some chairs. Ok you might have to wait for availability. Ok your girlfriend doesnt want you spending more money. IGNORE these small issues, get this chair.

Very well builded chair and would be perfect if certain pars are not made from hard plastic. Good quality mesh. Headrest and armrest could be improved. I have had damaged armrest. Asus wont help with spare parts. Overclockers top support as usually.
Seat is wide and with adjustable depth. I am 185cm and 98kg and chair was very
Comfortable. Both mesh on seat and backrest very comfortable.
If you extend seat depth you will certainly feel hard plastic frame on your bottom. (Back side of seat frame)
Back rest nicely hold you in the middle you dont have tendency to lean on one or other side. But if you do you will feel hard frame of backrest again.
Headrest would be nice if its hold in position.
Armrests nice adjustability but take extra care when adjusting them by turning around. Mine get broken.
Lumbar support use extra care.
I would prefer if in seat there is foam under mesh probably…
Basically all plastic parts u need to take extra care when using them.
Chair was easy to assemble except acoustic panel.
Is it worthy £699? Probably not. More like £550 I would say. But overall very good chair with few details to be improved and will be perfect.
