As is expected from the ROG brand, this is a really solid board, great build quality and packed with features. I've had no issues whatsoever with it in it's first year of use. Very pleased!
Pros: - Great build quality - Lots of M.2 slots and fan control headers - No compatibility issues with my Noctua NH-D15 CPU cooler - Q-Release button is a nice addition (easily releases a graphics card from it's slot) Cons: - Q-code only available on top-end models - Expensive I bought this motherboard to replace my old Asus Maximus VII Hero Z97 on Intel 4th Gen. Initially I was looking to go with a Hero board again but quickly realised the Z790-F Strix ticks all the boxes for a high-end gaming PC. Whilst the Hero is no doubt a great board, the additional features (Thunderbolt 4 & Hyper M.2 Card) isn't something I would use and seems to be geared towards content creators. Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase and wouldn't hesitate to buy this board again.
