Fantastic router for Sky FTTP connection.
by DCI had been looking for a new router to replace my Sky router as it doesn't deal with multiple high speed devices and has terrible WiFi range. As I was upgrading to Sky Ultrafast 500 I decided to bit the bullet. Everything I read said Asus was one of the best options due to support for DHCP option 61, which Sky may require on your line. After looking at several models with higher speed WiFi and other features I thought may be useful now or in future (twin 2.5Ghz WAN/LAN sockets and Guest WiFi accounts for instance) I ordered the TUF AX6000. It looks like a stealth fighter and a UFO had offspring but that aside it has done everything I wanted. A brief LAN connection to the Sky router to update it's firmware and enter my setup details and it was ready to takeover. I have a solid 511/70 wired connection with newer wireless devices being only slightly off that at 420/70, even in my daughter's room upstairs. Older devices are getting twice what they got in the other rooms upstairs and there are no longer any signal deadspots. I don't even need to think about a WiFi mesh now. Also despite reading of the horrors of getting Sky Q and mini boxes to play nice with non-Sky routers, they are connected and working perfectly.
