Simplify your cable management with the CableMod 12VHPWR 16-pin 180-degree Adapter. This device has been designed to make connecting your NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPU easier, by eliminating complicated cable bends. With its low-profile shell and angled connector, you can increase the space between GPU and PC case side panel thanks to the lack of cable routing through this area. What’s more, enjoy secure connectivity with reduced risk of thermal issues. With two variants and eleven colours for each, there is a 180-degree adapter to suit your gaming PC’s aesthetic.
The CableMod 12VHPWR 16-pin 180-degree Adapter has been designed to simplify connectivity with your NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs. As these graphics cards are considerably wider than previous generations, connecting the 12VHPWR cable can be tricky, especially in narrower cases. With the CableMod 12VHPWR Angled Adapter, this issue is alleviated. The female to male connector moves the port to a more accessible area, eliminating the need for complicated cable bends.
As a result, the connection between your 12VHPWR cable and GPU is much more secure as there is full contact with the terminals. Additionally, there is a reduced risk of thermal issues through wire or terminal stress. The CableMod 12VHPWR Angled Adapter can achieve this thanks to the intelligent multi-PCB design.
The CableMod 12VHPWR 16-pin 180-Degree Adapter is available in eleven different colourways. This model is Black / Gold. The main shell is vibrant gold accented by the black connectors and will add an exciting pop of colour into aesthetic.
There are two variants of the CableMod 12VHPWR 16-Pin 180-Degree Adapter. The graphics card you have will dictate which variant you choose. This is Variant A, which is less than 16mm deep with the 16-pin connector above the side-band pins.
Variant A is compatible with the follow NVIDIA RTX 40 Series GPUs:
CableMod has 3D printable versions available, if you wanted to test compatibility prior to purchase. They can be found here (external link).
Please note: “backplate side” and “cooler side” refers to which direction the cable will be once the adapter is installed. “Backplate side” means the cable will run along the GPU backplate, whilst “cooler side” means it will point towards the GPU cooler.
