It's an ok Monitor for the price.
by GaryRTI was using an Acer KB272HL Full HD 27" LED Monitor, which was a cheap VA Panel. Swapping this Monitor with the Coolmaster GM2711S, I noticed that this IPS screen handled light exactly the same as the VA panel in use, and it seems even less reflective. So the A.R.T coating works very well. Colours are far more accurate, and fine details are much more noticable on the GM2711S. Though I did prefer the Acer when watching standard HD media, as the image acually looked better (not contrast). The reason for the low score is that this Cool Master GM2711S has terrible light-bleed. It is present in all four corners, but is really noticable top left. In games it is pretty aweful. I know people say light-bleed is an issue with these types of displays, but my Acer VA panel has no light-bleed at all, and as such I will probably be going back to that tommorow.
