Not the lightest wireless model around but still my favourite Corsair mouse so far.
by Stephen WardWhat I really like about this mouse: Good build quality; stylish design; nice RGB effects; onboard memory for storing five profiles; better scroll wheel than some older Corsair models I've tried (quieter and more accurate); good battery life; reliable wireless connection. What I like less: The shape which in my opinion is a little less comfortable in the hand for palm grip as it feels somewhat angular where the top and sides meet. Also, this isn't the lightest wireless model around (at 98 grams) so if you're used to an ultra-light mouse then this might not suit you. What I don't like: I'm left-handed and even though the mouse housing is symmetrical there are extra buttons which clearly favour right-handed use. In fact these extra buttons are quite awkward to use if you're left-handed and may even be pressed by mistake. I've worked around this problem by remapping them to do something innocuous so occasional mis-presses don't become annoying. If you're right-handed this won't be a problem but I still think it's about time all major brands produced at least one left-handed (or properly ambidextrous) mouse in their range. Conclusion: I've owned many Corsair mice over the years and this is definitely my favourite so far. I'd say it's a good all-rounder and definitely worth considering as a competitor to something like the 502 X Plus. Personally I think the Corsair Nightsabre should be priced a little lower. I've seen it sell for as much as £130 and that seems a bit high to me. However, if you can bag one at a discount then you may be very glad that you did.
