Solid keyboard, but poor switches and keycaps
by DavidI bought this keyboard after I received a faulty keyboard from a different brand. So this keyboard wasn't my ideal, but I needed something, and it worked. Overall, it's a nice, solid keyboard. However, there are quite a few negatives. First, the Cherry MX Brown switches aren't really tactile, so if you're looking for something with a bump for feedback, those aren't it. But the keyboard is hotswappable, so I've been able to replace them. Second, and more important for the keyboard, is the keycaps are really bad. They're sort of sticky, sort of rough to touch, and in just one week, they've acquired a hefty amount of dirt and scratches. This also applies to the board below - it's very very easily scratched. Third, there are holes in the board base which you can see through the keys. I'm not sure what they're for, but seeing holes underneath the keys - most notably in the middle - is very off-putting. I've been in the process of replacing the switches and keycaps because they're not to my liking, which of course added extra costs. If the issues above aren't issues for you, then this keyboard is great!
