The Sensible Choice for Airflow
by Warren NewmanI bought this case after seeing some YouTube reviews listing this as a great case for Airflow with the caveat that it does nothing to really limit the noise of the fans. If you have a problem with fan noise then by all means try a different case but having come from a noisy ASUS Gaming Laptop which really suffered from high temps and considering this was my first ever PC build I wanted to prioritise High Airflow and Low Temps over anything else. This design of the front mesh and the tempered glass panel is great and the White and Black theme throughout coincidentally worked with the general aesthetic in my room anyway. In terms of noise it's not so bad for me especially because the cooling is good enough that the fans don't have to run very fast anyway. Being a PC building noob I was pleased with the design of the case and the easy assembly guide that came with the case. The cable management is adequate for my needs and the rubber grometts are a nice touch. The case came with a large microfiber cleaning cloth for the tempered glass panel which I am certainly glad of as try as I might I could not prevent fingerprints on the panel during assembly. The removable dust filters that allow for cleaning and maintenance should come in handy as well This was the first item I bought for my PC build and so it set the tone (which was all about low temps over everything else) for the rest of the component choices. In the future I would definitely buy from Fractal Design again.
