Finance available from Good for 2k Ultra
by Ryan Mif you are purchasing this blind, just go watch some youtube reviews for the 4070s. It does what its supposed to do, good Ray tracing card for ultra settings up to 2k, deffo not a 4k card if you like rt. Pros ultra settings at 2k, and can do 144fps + on comp shooters with settings tweaks fans switch off when idle (thank god) Cons The fans suck, they cool alright but they have a loud mechanical hum above 1100rpm. (not sure if i just got unlucky, or they are just cheap fans as it is one of the cheapest iterations of the 4070s) PSA Download Gainwood's expertool, at least you can put the card into silent mode, tweak the fan curve, oc if you want and tweak the brightness off the rather blinding rgb :) I was close to returning the card, but now that the hum is gone when idle, i can at least drown it out in game with headphones on. Its not the worst noise in the world but its definitely distracting. Overclockers Easy to buy from, Excellent delivery and next day to NI which i didnt expect, and well packaged.
