The card that I got had an issue where the PC would reboot when attempting to wake from standby, so it was returned. Other than that, the fins of the heatsink had a blemish and the fans on it are really loud. The fans of this graphics card stop on light loads, but they are very loud spinning up, even at their lowest speed of 30% which is 1000rpm. Note also that the power limit of this graphics card is 100%, so overclocking potential is limited. The graphics card was able to play many games at very high performance; the existing reviews and benchmarks of the 4080 Super don't lie. My recommendation is that if you really want a 4080 Super, then buy from a well-known brand.
Managed to grab this on launch day as the cheapest £956. What is not obvious is the build quality, the low noise, the low temps and the boost clock. The spec says boost clock is 2580MHz (2550 std) well in desktop it runs 2580 as standard and Starfield it hit 2805MHz. Fps 167 (1080p). Temps were low at 41C even at 2805MHz - this is all factory OC. Note also that Palit is also part of Gainward so the build components are the same. Highly Recommended.
