Costly Mistake
by JonathanRI upgraded my G card to the latest RTX 4090. I researched which one would be future-proof as it was a significant investment of over £1500. I do a considerable amount of work and also gaming so I managed to justify the cost. The card arrived and all was well with great performance. However, after a period the monitor failed to detect the G card and just remained blank. Following considerable investigation, I determined it was a G card problem and swapped out my old one. It worked immediately. So I returned the RTX to Overclockers. They reported no fault and sent it back. However, after a week the same problem reappeared and the card still does not work. So back to my old card again.
