Outstanding GPU. Ignore the hate regarding this, it's nothing to do with the product.
by LewisPurchased this as an upgrade on my current GPU and it's outstanding. I wanted something that would be more suited for a 750w Platinum SFX PSU that I use, and thought that the 4080 would have been pushing it (plus it would have meant some addition cabling would have been required with the additional PCIe requirement). Arrived within 24 hours (DPD Saturday) and it's an absolute unit. Easy enough to install, drivers updated, etc. and it's running like a dream. Found that across the board I'm getting substantial graphical improvements and I'm able to max out settings across the games I play. Also found that the Ray Tracing in games like Cyberpunk 2077, even with all settings maxed out, still getting between 70-80fps which is phenomenal. I was unsure whether to choose between this and a 3080 or 3090, but based on the fact this has a lower power consumption and also uses the new architecture, was a no brainer. I think this graphic card received a bit of backlash online as it was originally marketed as a 4080 (12GB) version before being changed to a 4070Ti, which I can understand, but in terms of the component itself it's a meaty bit of kit and an ideal purchase than having to spend that extra £400.00+ for a 4080 when it essentially won't make any difference to my gaming experience. Would recommend to anyone who primarily games at 1440p and wants to max out their settings, as it's a unit and I'm very glad I purchased this. Top service as always from the guys at Overclockers.
