Truly excellent keyboard - the case, plate and base are properly industrial - this is solid, heavy and well-machined. Internally, tolerances are exellent, and the gaskets, plate and case align perfectly. This thing is indestuctable - archeologists will be digging them up in 500 years. Glorious Core (downlaodable) gives good options for config, and if you want to go really deep down the customisaing rabbithole, it's QMK firmware compatible as well. The supplied USB cable is surprisingly good quality, braided and has good-quality connectors. My only niggle (and hence not a perfect 10.0) - Stabliser lube......why? The stabs are covered in gunk, and (before you assemble anything!) you need to separate the pcb, pull the stablisers, and clean/relube them. You also need to clean the crud off the pads on the PCB under the stabs) If you don't, they will stick down, and you don't want that after installing the switches (trust me!!). That said, the stabs are excellent, screwed on the PCB, and work incredibly well (once sticky-lube-free!). It's a shame Glorious just did'ntt leave them dry..... The other point to note is that the switches and SMD LEDs are South oriented - if you love your RGB, and backlit keycaps, this can be limiting, as most PBT doubleshot keycaps rely on the LED being at the top of the key, not the bottom. Pudding caps work well, or just buy a desk lamp :D I love this keyboard - it's now fitted with Glorious Panda switches and Tai-Hao keycaps and it works beautifully - brilliant tactile feel from the pandas, and a properly staisfying, deep thunk to the keys.Final shout to Overclockers for service - ordered this lot on a Saturday afternoon, got it on Sunday lunchtime. 10/10 for that - brilliant as always.

The GMMK Pro is a fantastic premium product in terms of build quality, design and looks. The case has a great finish to it and the side LED’s and appearance give it a professional look as opposed to the ‘flashiness’ of other gaming orientated mechs. It’s nicely presented in the packaging along with a decent quality USB-C cable and serviceable switch and key pullers. The switches can easily be clipped in and I didn’t have any fitment issues.
The only thing that stops this being a perfect first time modular board is the fact that they may have well put the stabilisers in with PVA glue. I’m guessing most people in the hobby don’t mind taking electronics apart to remove the stabilisers and lube them properly, but if you think you can buy this board, plug some switches in and add some key caps you are mistaken.

There isn't a 14 for the rating so i guess 10/10 will have to do. Been using one of these for a grand total of about 6 hours and it's already become my forever keyboard.Materials and build wise thing is an absolute chonker, weighing in at nearly 1.7kg, the reassuring weight and beautifully finished aluminium case feel strong enough to withstand everything from heavy typing and the odd rage slam to occasional use as a hammer. The heavy chassis also means it doesn't wobble or flex when you're on a power typing spree, which is fantastic.Getting all the switches and keycaps installed was a painless (and tool-less) experience easily done on a lunch hour, then it's plug and play from there. The keyboard's immediately picked up "Glorious Core" and you can start customising the lighting and key maps straight away with no fuss. The customisations appear to be stored on the keyboard itself so moving it between machines doesn't mean losing your extensive customisations.It's expensive but as soon as you open the box you can see why, if you're even remotely interested i'd definitely recommend taking the plunge. This thing's endlessly customisable in just about every aspect with it's hot swap switches and support for GMK and even VIA if you want absolute control over it. Serves as a perfect introduction to the enthusiast mechanical keyboard universe. One tiny gotcha for the keycaps - the 3 modifier keys to the right of the space bar are 1u (same size as the alphanum chars) rather than the 1.25u (left alt, win, ctrl) you're probably used to from other keyboards, you might have to improvise and chuck some numpad keys on those while you find some suitable stand-ins. This won't be a problem when the official v2 keycaps are launched/available but at the time of writing they're not out yet so i'm slumming it with some numpad keys from the regular GMMK keycap set to plug the gaps.Pairs wonderfully with Gateron Blues for top clack.
