Hyper sensitive, ruined my keycaps.
by NyxzySo, I bought these switches as they were the closest to the switches I had in my current keyboard and I wanted to maintain a somewhat similar feel to those switches. On paper, they seemed pretty much the same.. However, The Kailhs are more sensitive than a tooth ache for one.. simply resting your finger tips on top of the keys while typing/gaming was enough to start inputs happening. They had barely any resistance at all. Finding that I didn't get along with them, I then decided to change switches. When the new switches arrived (Prevail Nebulas.) I set about changing everything over. Once the keyboard was put back together I went about testing it and found I was having a mix of double or even triple inputs on some keys, flat zero input on others. Initially thought it to be a bad batch of switches but on further digging and testing.. it turns out Kailh switches have a rather storied past of either stretching or breaking the stem inside keycaps. I tried with a different keycap set to confirm this and with different keycaps, not a single issue with the new switches. So not only were the Kailhs unfathomably sensitive, they also ruined my keycaps. Will not be buying kailh switches in the future.
