by A JI got this enclosure expecting it to have good speed and be relatively quiet, but what I got was the complete opposite, I simply put one HDD in there and a turbo fan turns on and is really loud. It only ever turns off when you eject the drive or turn it off. The sound is very annoying, especially considering that my high end PC is able to stay whisper quiet, even under heavy load. Then this thing comes along and sounds like a 747 taking off. Speed wise, it is very slow, the drive I tested is rated for 200MB/s and have tested the drive before inserting it into the enclosure. The enclosure only reaches a measly 135MB/s, which is a huge drop off. Not only that, the box arrived somewhat warped from the back near the power supply. So overall a very bad experience, will be returning ASAP.
