So I've upgraded from a 5800X3D. Let me be clear as a productive CPU this destroys the AMD part, For gaming a much smoother experience, check any reviews now and since launch things a much improoved. It matches and passes the 5800x3D but it's the 1% lows that is where it's at way better in every regard even against the almighty 9800x3D, it might get higer FPS but again in workloads this wins and gaming is fully respectable. I remeber the Ryzen launch, didn't go so well either alot of teething issues there too. This is a better experience compared to that, I did think twice after buying but essentially nothing is good value due to the economy. This hits a sweet spot as a CPU, temps are never over 80c and clock the NGU and D2D up to 34 and you'll gain a lot of performance at no cost to heat or having to add voltage. Good direction from Intel, it's cutting edge and getting there.
