Good case for my NAS/homelab with some caveats
by John de SousaI bought one of these to house my NAS/Homelab, it's a good case but is let down by 2 things: 1) the back plane only accomodates 4 of the 8 drives that it can hold 2) the stock fan is way too noisy - I replaced mine with a Noctua and paird it with a temperature sensor that I placed in the drive bay - temps are now great. Nevertheless it works really well with my setup and the temps are now fine now I moved to helium filled drives, the air filled drives tended to get too warm. Working in the top half of the case is no problem but is a little cramped in the drive bays, make sure to use the really thin SATA data cables if you can as space is tight. As usual excellent service from Overclockers!
