To achieve this, the Lian Li Edge had to achieve an average efficiency between 89-91% when under load, ensuring practically all power drawn from your outlet is converted into usable energy with minimal waste. As a result, this PSU produces less heat and therefore requires less cooling. In fact, the Lian Li Edge has a fanless mode, which is designed to further reduce energy consumption and noise.
The Lian Li Edge PSU utilises a unique L-Shaped form factor, where the power connectors have been moved to a dedicated housing. Thanks to this, the main PCB of the power supply can be extended into this space, allowing for direct mounting of the power connectors, a highly efficient design. Using this layout, your power cables will exit at a 90-degree angle, compared to a standard PSU. This leads to a much cleaner cable setup, as there will be no kinks or bends to your wires.
Alongside this, the unique layout is much more user-friendly, especially when installed in a dual-chamber case where the PSU is vertically mounted. You’ll have easy access to all the power outputs, perfect for plugging in your power cables or making upgrades when the PSU is mounted in place. What’s more, many enthusiasts with standard layout cases can also enjoy this advantage. A wide range of cases that include a PSU shroud, also include removable cover plates for mounting storage drives. These removable covers also provide access to the PSU chamber, so that when the Lian Li Edge is mounted with the fan facing up, you can easily access the power plugs from the main cavity of your case.
With the power connectors moved to their own housing, Lian Li has been able to include an additional feature with this PSU, a USB 2.0 hub! With this, you can connect up to four USB devices such as Lian Li’s UNI FANs or Strimer cables, to a single header or USB port on your motherboard, ideal for motherboards that may provide only one or two USB headers.
The Lian Li Edge PSU includes all the necessary power cables for powering your gaming hardware, such as motherboard 20+4pin, CPU 8-pin, and PCIe 4+4-pin. As the Lian Li Edge complies with the ATX12V Version 3.1 specification, it also includes a native 12VHPWR cable, perfect for use with NVIDIA RTX 4080 and 4090 GPUs.
Alongside these, Lian Li has included three different SATA cables. The first cable utilises the layout found with most SATA cables, with four 90-degree connectors spread evenly along its length. The second SATA reduces the space between the 90-degree connectors, making it the perfect choice for drive cages where multiple drives are mounted close together. The third SATA lead uses a Y-shaped design, with two separate cables running from the power connector, both of which feature a single 90-degree and 180-degree adapter.

I've been buying Lian Li cases for 15+ years and never been disappointed. This is my first Lian Li PSU, bought for a Evo XL Case. Very quiet PSU under normal load. Very easy cabble connection, great for dual chamber. Braided cables, with combs. Haven't used the USB feature yet, but very handy to have. Another Lian Li winner!
