The Lancool II Mesh Performance is the latest update to Lian Li's popular Lancool series. This Mid-Tower case features a full mesh front panel, for improved airflow, and has been optimised for performance as it features a controller button to easily cycle through the fan speed of its three bundle PWM fans. The Lancool II Mesh Performance also retains many of the characteristic features of the Lancool series such as a sleek, futuristic design and the use of premium materials, including SGCC steel and two tempered glass side panels.
The Lancool II is a modern Mid-Tower with a stylish design with a robust steel frame and excellent cooling performance.
This new version of the Lancool II has been optimised for airflow with a large mesh front panel. As well as that the front supports up to three 120- or two 140 mm fans, with the roof supporting two fans up to 140 mm in diameter, one 120mm fan at the back and two 120mm fans about the PSU chamber.
Regarding water cooling options, it is possible to install AiO- and custom water cooling solutions. Up to a 360mm radiator can be fitted to the front and a 240mm radiator can be attached to the top of the case.
In order to ensure clean air circulates within the case, Lian Li have included magnetic dust filters, which fit to the top and bottom of the case.
This particular model of the Lancool II Mesh includes a total of three PWM fans that 140mm fans to go in the front and one 120mm to go in the back. This fan configuration complements the mesh front panel to create amazing airflow throughout the case.
These fans can be controlled via the motherboard or their speed can be easily adjusted at the touch of a button on the i/o panel.
There is room inside the Lancool II Mesh Performance for many components. Up to an E-ATX motherboard can be installed Two 2.5″ SSDs can be attached to individual mounts to the back of the motherboard tray. The right cover panel accommodates two more 2.5″ drives on the inside. Under the power supply cover there is a drive cage for three 3.5″ or 2.5″ drives.
Finally the i/o panel, in addition to featuring a speed controller button, has an audio jack two USB 3.0 ports and one (optional) USB 3.1 TYPE C port.

Received with a damaged front panel, OC was swift in arranging a collection and sending a replacement case so top stars for the service. My only gripe with the case is the front panel USB connector. It is bulky and if the motherboard's USB 3.0 header is at the bottom (which it is in my case), it becomes a nighmare to align it properly.
Got this as my PC outgrew a 10 year old case when I acquired a 3090 FE behemoth - the unremovable drive cage was right in the way.Selected this one on the basis of a number of case reviews (thanks GN) and this won for thermals, build and finally the right size to fit where the old case did.Loads of drive mount options - I went with the two rear SSD mounts as they are effectively cooled by the backplate and one of the 3.5 bays for my SSDs in the end, but there's room for plenty.Tranferring the guts was a breeze, mainly because the cable management requires virtually no effort, just slap the covers over them. This ended up being a really clean build with almost no cables on display (who invented the FE power connector?!?) purely by accident.Shipped by OC at late notice after I snagged the FE and deliverd on a Sat for no extra charge - can't fault the service so thanks OC!
