Big Power in a Small Package

Lian Li has managed to pack a large amount of power delivery into a small package with the SP850. Boasting an SFX form factor, the dimensions are 100mm x 63.5mm x 125mm (DxWxH), perfect for a small build. This PSU will be able to supply even the most powerful components available. The SP850 is able to achieve this by delivering 100W on its combined +3.3V and +5V rails, and 840W on its combined +12V rails.

Quietly Efficient

The Lian Li SP850 is an amazingly quiet power supply, and when under a full load, the cooling fan only reaches 40.6 dB. That's as quiet as a library! What's even better, the passive heat dissipation of this PSU is so effective that when under 40% load, the fan can enter a zero RPM mode for totally silent operation. The cooling potential of this power supply is possible thanks to the 91.55% efficiency at 115VAC at 50% load. Thanks to this capability, this PSU is able to achieve an 80 Plus Gold rating and only narrowly misses out on an 80 Plus Platinum rating.

Fully Modular Design

The Lian Li SP850 allows you to only use the cables you actually need, thanks to its fully modular design. This makes it feasible to construct extremely clean builds, free of cable clutter. Included with this PSU is a full range of modular cables, from the necessary motherboard and CPU cables to a range of PCIe, SATA, and peripheral cables. Alongside these standard cables, the SP850 also includes a PCIe 5.0 dual 8-pin to 12-pin cable, perfect for supplying power to modern GPUs without requiring an adapter.

Works as should

It's been a long while since I had to buy a PSU but moving down from atx to itx meant this was a must have. I bought this one over the Corsair and cooler master versions simply because of the all white aesthetic, which PSU, white cables and white connectors to better fit with the build. Everything works as intended at the moment, no issues and will update as necessary. Wish it could have been cheaper as with anything and would give 5 but haven't been able to test the longevity and end of the day it's only a PSU it doesn't go above and beyond.
