The BIOS update process was remarkably straightforward, exceeding my expectations for a first-time BIOS update. Furthermore, the exceptional build quality is evident in the pre-installed shield, which greatly simplifies the installation process. I am thoroughly satisfied with my acquisition.
Easy to install motherboard. Updating the bios was easy aswell. Overall I am satisfied with the product.
There are some reviews saying it has slow boot times. I have yet to encounter this as mine seems quite fast regardless of the fact that the newest bios update on MSI website states to have fixed this issue now. Motherboard itself is great as it has all the basic features , bluetooth, wifi, rgb lighting support, etc. Looks really great and I had no problems building my pc on top of it. A definite must for any gaming PC enthusiast and MSI provides pretty decent support for it giving a bios update every 2-4 weeks. MSI center is optional in my opinion and there are pretty good alternatives out there but for a beginner it isn't the worst either.
