Its performance is very fast, it has played games excellently. Its screen is extremely clear, quieter than I was expecting even when in high performance. Heavy and sturdy build where nothing feels flimsy or poor quality. All in all a fantastic machine I am glad I chose this for my first gaming laptop.
Having previously been using the Vector GP66 for about a year, the Vector GP77 has resolved the little niggles I had with that laptop while continuing to deliver amazing performance for the money. It handles games such as Star Citizen well while running a lot quieter than the previous generation. The display is smooth and absolutely gorgeous, while the much better port options (including USB-C power delivery!) and friendlier power brick improve the offering substantially. All in all I couldn't be happier with the purchase and will be sticking to the Vector model going forward.
After using the Vector GP66 for about a year, the GP77 is an excellent upgrade. All the best features of the GP66, such as the build quality and great display are still present, but with the improvements in the size and cooling it runs quieter than the GP66 ever did while also offering great performance. Inclusion of the USB-C charging and a much more mobile-friendly power brick go on the enhance the package and make this a fantastic purchase overall.
