Surprisingly good quality
by JamesIn the very limited footrest marketplace for footrest (other than getting something meant for your living room). This was a bit of gamble buy for myself, as usually avoid PU leather products. Because, generally speaking, I've found a lot of these type of products are far less superior than their real leather counterparts. That said its PU leather, while no where near the same as my real gaming leather chair, is of a good quality that could stand the test of time. The footrest has a very sturdy construction, even though they do advise not to put you feet facedown directly on it if angled towards you. As the footrest should only be used angled away from you. Thus in that aspect, I would say it's more of leg rest than foot rest. However, it still serves a similar purpose in providing you a more ergonomic seated position, at least that's the dream. Up to now, I have only used traditional plastic/foam footrests, so the feeling of your feet either just dangling there when angled at a 45-degress or resting on top when flat at 90-degrees, means I found it took a little time getting used to it. While it does have a full range of motion (anywhere between 45 and 90) to try and find you ideal angle of attack! Construction is child's play, as even those with the worst track records will excel only putting two parts together with the single Allen screw. Overall, I would recommend this product if you're happy to compromise.
