as said its a cable so it either works or not.but 30m was a way overkill in my case xP since I now have another 15 meters spare of cable next to my case :]this is a patch cable for those who dont know with this you can onlyconnect to routers/hubs/switches etc. but not directly with other devices.
Got this when we moved into our new build, got it tacked neatly round the skirting board from the router all the way up to the office (27 meters distance) win7 reports full 1GB connection and i get very good throput. changed all my cables to ocvalue cables i was that impressed. now if only they did other colours.........
