Fantastic little card for the money
by Andrew from Endon (UK)The GTX1660 was an upgrade for my GTX950 on my Micro-ATX PC. Everything went smoothly. The first step was to download a DDU program and the NVIDIA GTX1660 drivers. Then I created a Windows restore point in Win 10. Then I rebooted Windows in Safe Mode and ran the DDU program to uninstall the old drivers, and then rebooted. Next I installed the GTX1660 drivers and adjusted the display settings for "performance". It all went like a dream. The new GPU is nice and quiet and is so far staying cool. Hogwarts Legacy is running smoothly on medium/high settings, which is great, considering that my PC is 8-years-old. The build quality of the Palit GTX1660 is excellent and it fitted into the PCIe slot without any issues. It's still early days yet, but for the money this is a great card for anyone looking to upgrade an older system with something faster.
