What’s more, the interior design has been carefully crafted to support large modern hardware whilst still leaving ample space for 12VHPWR cables.
The Phanteks NV5 is available in two colours, black or white. This model is black, the perfect backdrop for high-end hardware and RGB lighting.
The Phanteks NV5 can support an extensive range of premium gaming hardware. As a mid-tower, this chassis can support Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, and ATX motherboards. There is even support for E-ATX motherboards, up to 280mm wide but without installing the included GPU bracket. This bracket is included in the scope of delivery to help support the larger GPUs on the market. What’s more, the clearance for graphics cards measures 440mm and 170mm wide. Plus, there are seven expansion slots and support for vertical mounting (vertical bracket sold separately).
For storage, there are multiple choices with the Phanteks NV5. The rear compartment features a door which boasts mounting points for either three 3.5" HDDs, or four 2.5" SSDs. Alternatively, this door can also facilitate fan controllers and or RGB hubs.
To keep your gaming PC cool, the Phanteks NV5 integrates ample support for both air and water-cooling systems. There are eight mounts for 120mm across the chassis. Both the top panel and the space to the right of the motherboard can hold three fans, whilst the base and rear have single mounts. The base fan can be utilised to provide extra cooling for your chosen GPU.
If water-cooling is more your speed, then you can alternatively mount 360mm radiators on the top panel or the right-hand side space. The top panel has a dedicated space for radiators, providing 63mm clearance for cooling hardware.
For CPU coolers, there is clearance for towers up to 180mm tall. As such, this PC case has extensive compatibility with CPU coolers available on the market.
To keep the interior looking tidy, the Phanteks NV5 has a dedicated PSU shroud with a removable cover. This allows for easy access to the PSU chamber, simplifying installation and cable routing. This shroud can hold power supplies up to 230mm long.
Adding a touch of colour, the PSU shroud has integrated DRGB lighting. This can be controlled without software, utilising the mode and colour buttons on the I/O panel. This interface also features one USB-C, two USB 3.0 ports, an audio jack, and the necessary power buttons.

Great size case. Easy to work in looks really clean. Don't go off the pictures that show the prebuilt as all fans are set to pull. Don't be like me and think: 'That's what it will look like'. As your thermals will be quick to disagree with you, and you have no airflow....
