The Tri-X Cooling Solution is powered by two larger fans on the outside and one smaller fan in the middle with reverse spinning direction to boost wind ?ow beneath the fans. Great card

Bought this a while back (when the GPU shortage was in full swing) in Feb '21 as this was one of the few new cards in stock at a decent price (got it for £900, now at £1,099.99!!). A friend of mine had a 3080 (around the same price) so we did some comparison tests. Whilst team green absolutely kicked it on Ray Tracing, when it comes to basic rasterization this card not only held it's own but actually out performed the 3080 in a lot of games for FPS. In terms of size it's pretty beefy, however it's surprisingly light weight and the cooling solution is really good, on bench marks the temps were really good and the power draw is lower than the 3080. If you're interested in ray tracing then clearly a 30 series will be for you, if you want the best price for performance in 1440 or 1080 gaming I would look at the 6800XT series, and the Sapphire model is at the top end of the 6800 series.

Better than expected

Having my friends RTX 3080 I have to say I prefer 6800xt more. I really liked Ray Tracing in Cyberpunk with 3080 but it is easy to forget about it.First of all, Sapphire 6800 XT is massive. And I mean it. It looks huge even in CM Cosmos case. It definitely looks million times better than on the stock photos. It runs cool and quiet and have great rgb - not very over the top so it is easy to fit even into something what supposed to be ALL BLACK build.Due to size of it, support bracket is a must. Overclockers - thanks for safe packaging and fast delivery.

Perfect

Beautiful GPU, runs blazingly fast while being cool and whisper quiet. Runs all of my games at ultra settings at 1440p with ease, like it's nothing. Installed Radeon software, drivers and enabled AMD Freesync Premium no issues whatsoever, putting to bed my fears of buying a Radeon card after years of only using Nvidia's cards. All in all, I'm very happy with this card and I would recommend it to anybody wanting to buy a high end GPU.
