Seriously impressive performance
by bunglehazeHaving had a few AIO's including a Raijintek orcus that came with a fault, I decided that the reviews of this cooler seemed to point to it being a good one, boy was i not disappointed.Coolermaster AIO on Ryzen 3800x clocked to 4450 all cores - 39 degrees idle, 58 on load. Orcus, 38 idle, 56 under load. This beast though, 30-32 idle and if it gets to 42 it soons drops to 42. I have not had it go higher than 52 under load. So, the trade off? It's aesthetic really as the block itself is a little cheap looking especially with the lights off when it's just a mirror. I would really appreciate if the hose connections allowed hoses to be twisted slightly too as in my S340 case the hoses are a bit long and the bend isn't exactly where I would like it to sit - all very minor when it performs so well though.Sound wise, pretty much silent, seriously. I have the two supplied fans on push, two EZDIY FAB fans on pull and both seem happy to run between 400-800 rpm which keeps them super quiet. I buy mainly for noise levels as I am isolated and loud coolers are irritating. This has a slight pump hum, less than that of a HDD running and the rest is whisper quiet. I use Asus TPU to optimise my setup but find it does a good job keeping levels bang on.If you are on the fence about this or one of the coolers double the price for performance reasons - get this. If you only want it to look nice then the NZXT and ASUS models do look much nicer but are not as quiet IME.
