North Facing LEDs only
by RalphThese feel really nice, and have clear readable shine through - as long as your board's LEDs are north facing (i.e. at the back of the switch). Unfortunately, the GMMK Pro barebones kit I bought has south-facing LEDs for some reason, so I fitted these to a Wooting board that I had and switched the caps from that to the GMMK. The Tai Hao keycaps are way nicer than the stock Wooting ones ans so I'm really pleased with the way that looks. It's also nice that this set has all the sizes you might need for compatibility with US or UK layouts in most standard formats. There is a very slight warp in the space bar, which is a thing with PBT keycaps, apparently as it shrinks more when cooling compared to ABS. Only really noticable when looking from above as a slight difference in the gap between the space bar and the keys above, and only if you're really looking for it. Overall, very good for the price - but check those LEDs before puchasing. With south facing LEDs, the text is almost invisible in a low light situation, especcially with the LED shine around the keys reducing the contrast even more.
