High Performance Cooling Solutions - Made in Germany
Thermal Grizzly is introducing a new product called KryoSheet , which is one of the company's advertised "High Performance Cooling Solutions". The graphene thermal pads of the Thermal Grizzly KryoSheet series can be used excellently as an alternative to thermal pastes from the higher performance segment. Similar to the Carbonaut pads, they have an adaptable surface with very high thermal conductivity.

Compared to Carbonaut pads, KryoSheet, as a high-end product, offers significantly higher thermal conductivity. This increased thermal conductivity is not only due to the choice of materials, but also to the innovative manufacturing process. KryoSheet contains no liquid components and is therefore not subject to normal aging, as is the case with traditional thermal paste. Drying out is not possible.

What makes KryoSheet so special?/strong>
The KryoSheet graphene pads feature a molecular structure stacked in the Z direction. This optimized structure enables outstanding and constant thermal conductivity. This is due to a specially developed manufacturing process in which the hexagonal crystal structure of the graphite is broken up along the basal plane in order to exploit the anisotropy of the thermal conductivity of the graphite. However, as a side effect of this complex manufacturing process, the electrical conductivity is also increased and the stability of the KryoSheet pads is influenced, so that the pads should only be used according to instructions!

Due to the optimized thermal conductivity of KryoSheet compared to Carbonaut, the focus of the graphene pads is on enthusiast products in the end customer segment as well as on industrial applications. Examples of the use of KryoSheet include refurbishing used graphics cards and notebooks/laptops.

Who is the KryoSheet worthwhile for?/strong>
The easy application and longevity of the KryoSheet pads are plus points here. The long durability of the pads means that they are maintenance-free. In addition to applications in industry, for example in the construction of servers, this is also an advantage in domestic PC construction or in the OEM sector. Because the pads do not have to be replaced at regular intervals like thermal paste, there is no need for extensive maintenance.

Pads should be purchased in a size that is minimally larger than the area to be covered. In the case of an Intel desktop CPU (socket 115x, 1200) with a heat spreader (IHS) size of 32 x 32 mm, the KryoSheet with a size of 33 x 33 mm should be selected. After cleaning the contact surface (CPU, CPU cooler, GPU, GPU cooler), the KryoSheet is simply positioned on the processor or graphics chip to be cooled before the cooler is mounted.

Danger! KryoSheet graphene pads are electrically conductive and must not come into contact with electrical components!/strong>

Evened out temps

by Kyle Hey star star star star star

My 7900XT had a really bad difference between hot spot and core of about 30°C. Repasting it did not help. Using this my hot spot to core has dropped to 12-13°C difference now so I am very happy. Not sure if it is only from this sheet or just prior bad thermal paste application but I am a happy customer. It is a little fiddly to cut to size and ensure it does not move when installing the cooler so make sure you know what you are doing when installing it.
