The
Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus is a relatively compact Full-Tower case with impressive aesthetics and a few particularly welcome premium features. The entire interior can be easily seen through the
hinged tempered glass side panels as well as the panels in the front and cover which are also illuminated with the help of the
huge Riing Plus 20 RGB fans. The
RGB effects can be configured via voice control, Amazon's Alexa is also compatible. You could even adjust the lighting to fit your local weather forecast or
synchronise them peripherals using Razer's Chroma software.

Hardware Options in the Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus:
A total of
eight horizontal PCI slot brackets are available, and the modular case design enables vertical mounting. This means
the graphics card can be installed using an optional riser cable (available separately). The transparent glass side panel allows users to enjoy a full and unhindered view of their high-end gaming graphics card as well as making it into a eye-catching feature of the case overall. The spacious case accepts GPUs with lengths of 31- up to 41 cm, if users forfeit the HDD cage.
Motherboards up to E-ATX can be installed on the motherboard tray and as for coolers, CPU coolers up to heights of 200 mm are compatible.
The side panels, front and roof are all made from
5 mm thick tempered glass and this means the interior of the case becomes something to show off rather than conceal. The side panels are affixed with
hinges to enable the sides to fold out by up to 180° or even removed entirely. The rest of the case uses a combination of silver and black to make for a premium aesthetic. If you do happen to have a high-end power supply, the
PSU shroud is removable to enable users to show it off as well. The bottom allows for two 120 mm fans to be installed, this means the PSU can be up to 220 mm long.
Air- and Water Cooling Options:
The stylish design of the
Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Full-Tower aside, Thermaltake puts a lot of emphasis on airflow too. In addition to both of the
200 mm fans pre-installed in the front as well as the 140 mm fan in the rear, the case allows for many more fans to be installed. As such, huge 200 mm fans are also compatible with the roof of the case. Alternatively, the front and roof enable three 120- or 140 mm models to be installed while the bottom of the case can support two 120 mm fans.
For complex custom water cooling systems, the
Level 20 GT RGB Plus offers
multiple mounting slots for radiators, pumps and reservoirs. The front and the motherboard tray allow for 420- or 360 mm models. Installing RGB fans on the radiator is just one option of many in terms of making the most of your case. 360 mm models will fit comfortably in the roof, while the bottom and rear allow for 240- and 140 mm models respectively. A bracket for pumps is included in the bundle and is installed towards the front of the bottom of the case.
Smart RGB Options
The absolute highlight of the
Thermaltake Level 20 GT RGB Plus Full-Tower is surely the
customisable and configurable digitally addressable RGB lighting thanks to the Riing fans. Using a bundled controller hub which is connected via USB header to the motherboard, the TT RGB Plus software and app enable users to synchronise the lighting. Features include various lighting effects, peripheral synchronisation options i.e in accordance with games, temperatures/Razer Chroma-compatible products - you can do virtually anything you can imagine. The real showstopper however must be the
voice controls and Amazon Alexa synchronisation, which is so advanced that you could even synchronise the lighting with the weather outside. Of course all your profiles and RPM speeds can be stored for use as and when needed.
3.5"- and 2.5" drives can be installed in a variety of locations around the case. Two modular cages for two 3.5"- or 2.5" drives can be attached to the motherboard tray. Storage devices can also be hidden on the rear of the motherboard tray, which has space for up to six 2.5" SSDs or three 3.5"-HDDs to be attached. The I/O panel is divided across two sides and includes the obligatory audio jacks and power/reset buttons with
two USB 3.0- and USB 2.0 ports on the right side. A modern
USB 3.1 Type C jack is included to finally put an end to the frustrations of old style USB ports. Needless to say the case also comes with dust filters
on the roof, front and bottom.
