I bought the ThunderX3 XTC Mesh Black Gaming Chair as a replacement for my Corsair T3 Gaming Chair, which wore out after about two years and became very uncomfortable. At almost 40, I needed something more ergonomic, as the Corsair chair had started giving me back problems.
Initially, I was skeptical since ThunderX3 isn’t a big-name brand and seemed like a "one-and-done" type of company. However, I’ve been thoroughly impressed by the quality of this chair. Everything feels solid, with none of the wobbliness you often get with mid-tier chairs. Assembly was a breeze—it took me about 30 minutes to put it together on my own. While the chair has a decent weight to it, it wasn’t too difficult to carry up the stairs.
The build quality is excellent, from the sturdy wheels to the comfortable headrest. The materials feel premium, and the mesh is both supportive and breathable. It’s clear this chair is built to last and should stand the test of time far better than my Corsair chair did.
In terms of ergonomics, this is my first proper ergonomic chair, so I don’t have much to compare it to. That said, I work long hours from home, and this chair has been a game-changer. I feel much more upright, with my entire back fully supported, and I no longer slouch. Pairing this chair with a footrest has further improved my posture and significantly reduced my lower back pain.
If you’re on the fence about getting the ThunderX3 XTC, I highly recommend it. It combines the sleek style of a gaming chair with the support and comfort of an ergonomic office chair. After sitting in this, I’ll never go back to racing-style chairs again.
OK chair

This is a good chair, but the armrests and seat could be a bit softer. However, it's still better than a standard gaming chair.
Good quality but a pain to piece together

I was very sceptical purchasing this chair as the price scared me slightly along with the limited amount of reviews, and all the current reviews being 5 stars. I'm pleased to say that the chair is quite comfortable and I really enjoy being able to customize the height of the arm rests and the seat.
However, when it comes to putting this thing together it can be quite annoying. For example, when adding on the back rest, it slots into the bracket at the back of the chair but the screws need to be inserted from the bottom, which can make for some awkward positions. I would highly recommend you build this with an extra person or multiple others.
The final issue I had with this chair as well is that once we put it all together, the adjustable height for the seat didn't seem to work. We tried pulling the lever but nothing and even found a YouTube video for this model but still didn't seem to work. We tried hammering the cylinder that makes it extend in-case it wasn't pushed in correctly but that also didn't seem to work.
I practically gave up with this and even sent a message to the company who makes these before taking it mostly apart and pushing down as hard as I could with an extra person to help and magically that seems to have resolved my issue.
TL;DR: Lovely quality but has some minor issues when it comes to assembly and then having the potential of the cylinder to not work correctly for the adjustable seat height.
