Good quality but a pain to piece together

I was very sceptical purchasing this chair as the price scared me slightly along with the limited amount of reviews, and all the current reviews being 5 stars. I'm pleased to say that the chair is quite comfortable and I really enjoy being able to customize the height of the arm rests and the seat.
However, when it comes to putting this thing together it can be quite annoying. For example, when adding on the back rest, it slots into the bracket at the back of the chair but the screws need to be inserted from the bottom, which can make for some awkward positions. I would highly recommend you build this with an extra person or multiple others.
The final issue I had with this chair as well is that once we put it all together, the adjustable height for the seat didn't seem to work. We tried pulling the lever but nothing and even found a YouTube video for this model but still didn't seem to work. We tried hammering the cylinder that makes it extend in-case it wasn't pushed in correctly but that also didn't seem to work.
I practically gave up with this and even sent a message to the company who makes these before taking it mostly apart and pushing down as hard as I could with an extra person to help and magically that seems to have resolved my issue.
TL;DR: Lovely quality but has some minor issues when it comes to assembly and then having the potential of the cylinder to not work correctly for the adjustable seat height.
Solid, well made, a breeze to put together!

I was waiting months for my chair to arrive when I pre-ordered, but it was worth the wait! I was trepidatious about how tricky it'd be to put together, but I needn't have been, it was very simple. I needed another person to hold the chair back when I was putting it together because this beast is h e a v y, but everything else I was able to do myself (and I daresay there's some fancy way you can prop the thing up if you have to put it together on your own). My other half, who has a Noble gaming chair, is slightly jealous because he says this chair is more comfy than his. I'm most pleased, especially given the price point (5p short of £250 at the time of order) and would 100% recommend it.

Depending on your age, you might either think this looks less exciting than your usual gaming chair or not very comfy looking. You would be wrong on the comfort front and I think the aesthetics are cool looking now I have had a closer look firsthand. More importantly its just a healthier chair and better for you if you spend a lot of time sitting which I do both in my job and spare time (coding & gaming).
Took about 15 minutes to put together and even comes with some extra screws in case one should drop into a void. Was fairly straightforward to assemble, I did need an extra pair of hands when attaching the backrest to the seat but the rest was easy and just tightening screws. It does come with a fully illustrated paper manual.
The small video does not do it justice and once you start peeling back the protective plastic it comes shipped with, you start seeing the subtle aesthetics.
It has a textured trim on the arm-rests and the wheels that are carbonlike. The arm-rests themselves are not padded but are made from some soft to the touch hardened rubber which I find quite comfortable to rest my elbow on whilst typing this for example. They also swivel inwards and outwards, slide back and forth a notch and extend a notch up or down which might be useful depending on the height/location of your desk and keyboard. They are also separate so you could choose to only install the right or left arm-rest if you were concerned about them. I for example sometimes play guitar and was initially only looking for a chair that had armrests that could be moved away.
The wheel base is an upgrade to my previous chair. I am on a wooden floor and the previous chairs plastic wheels had issues and seemed to get stuck and dragged around rather than actually turning.
There is an immediate noticeable improvement in that respect with this chair, bigger wheels that turn & pivot with ease. Still plastic but a much better design and the base is a smooth metal frame.
I am 165cm tall and was concerned the headrest might be too high up but its perfect and I can have my feet flat on the floor with my back against the backrest whilst my head is comfortable on the headrest. A little pressure allows me to lean back (lockable mechanism) at which point the seat rises a little upwards unlike some standard chairs where its more like tipping a bucket. The seat also moves back or forth a notch.
Overall so far very happy with my decision to get a mesh chair over a padded one which, whilst cheaper, generally just starts peeling away after a while
Would recommend and Saturday delivery was no extra charge, thanks Overclockers.
