Big upgrade
by MarcThis graphics card was obviously going to make a big difference, the card it replaced was a GTX 1060 6gb which performed flawlessly, but was starting to show its age. This RTX 4070 twin fan was chosen because of its size and its price, it’s not far off the size of my old card so is ideal for systems with not a lot of room and it’s not that expensive. Performance wise, it’s my first foray into this Ray Tracing lark and I must say it’s impressive, especially Cyberpunk 2077 which ran well with my old card but now I can turn that Ray Tracing on the world of cyberpunk looks a million times better. I also use VR which with this card has had a healthy Fidelity boost, I’m on my way through Half Life Alyx again which now looks amazing. So to conclude, for me it was a relatively cheap yet massive upgrade, definitely recommend for those that waited for Graphics cards to come down in price.
