To accommodate the large size of the newly released RTX 3000 Series, it's worth carefully considering case compatibility. For instance, the case requirements are different depending on which Ampere GPU you choose.
The RTX 3090 requires a case with a 3-slot expansion whereas an RTX 3080 or RTX 3070 only needs a 2-slot expansion. This ultimately means to utilise an Nvidia RTX 3090 a case upgrade may be required.
