The
BR120 series of fans from Lian Li are directed primarily towards system builders and case modders, people looking for a product that performs on an aesthetic level as well as on the technical. The update to the series brings a new design,
improved bearings and
digitally addressable RGB-LED lighting. As such, the
BR120 Digital Series also impresses with features such as a fluid-dynamic bearing design, easy disassembly, and some impressive specifications to go with the attractive lighting effects. The set even includes a controller and remote, a fan hub and aluminium frames. Even better? This practical set includes three such Lian Li fans.
The Features of the Lian Li BR120 Digital RGB-PWM Fan:
- Fluid-dynamic bearings for quiet operation and long-term durability
- The aluminium fan frames include decouplers for minimising vibration
- RGB Dispersion ring with 12 individually addressable RGB-LEDs
- Includes PWM fan hub for controlling up to 6 fans
- Wired remote for controlling RGB-LEDs, control via motherboard also possible
- 900 - 1800 RPM at 29 dB(A)
- 98,5 m³/h max. Airflow & 1,46 mm max. H2O static pressure
Complex Dynamic RGB Lighting Effects & PWM Control
Thanks to its modular design consisting of the fan wheel, hub, dispersion ring and aluminium frame, the fan is easy to clean or add a custom paintjob. The high-quality fluid-dynamic bearings reduce energy consumption at higher fan speeds due to the low friction produced in comparison to competing fans. The effective fan speed is set to 1800 RPM. Producing up to a max of 29 dB(A) under full load, the
BR120 Digital Fans are also very quiet and offer up to 98,5 m³/h airflow and 1,46 mm H2O static pressure at full speed.
The RGB-LEDs in this version have migrated to the dispersion ring around the hub. In the fan frame, as previously, there are still the light aluminium rings we've become accustomed to. These provide increased stability - but they also happen to look great too. In combination with the included
RGB Controller Hub, which also serves as a wired remote control, countless lighting effects in all the colours of the rainbow can be configured and their speed/intensity controlled. Alternatively, the lighting can also be controlled via the mainboard. Via a
separate PWM hub for up to six fans, which is connected to the mainboard, the fan speed is controlled as usual via software and BIOS.
