The Red Dead Redemption PC release includes both the original title and its epic zombie filled expansion, Undead Nightmare. Set in an alternate timeline, Undead Nightmare throws John Marston into a world where the dead have risen from their graves and are shuffling rampant across the old west. What’s worse, his wife and son have been bit. It’s up to John to find a way to cure them, so that they can go back to living a normal life.
Once more, John will have to travel around familiar locations, trying to discover the source of the undead outbreak, and hopefully put a stop to it. But even with a zombie plague sweeping the country, that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for other activities. Undead Nightmare boasts multiple side quests to dive into, including hunting for mystical beasts like the Sasquatch and El Chupacabra.
Whatever you decide to do, you’ll need weapons and tools to survive. Undead Nightmare has plenty on hand. Alongside the classic revolvers and rifles found in the base game, Undead Nightmare adds specialised equipment for fighting zombies, like holy water, zombie bait, and a blunderbuss that fires zombie parts!
